Kracker and I are in Northern Michigan.  He definitely is a well adjusted horse.    Following the last lesson I took the instructor asked if a 9 yr old who the instructor watches during the day could walk him around.  The little girl was dressed to ride so we helped her up, her legs are so short that when she asked him to move her legs hit the saddle instead of Kracker.  Kracker followed me around the arena.  The instructor then suggested that we put a lunge line on him.  I had no objections but did remark that he has not had a rider on when he is lunged.  NOOO problem.  He walked and then trotted and was an absolute angel.  He knew he had a little one on his back and took care of her.  The owner of the barn who has a summer home in MI and has a thoroughbred breeding facility in Ocala told me that I did hit the jackpot with Kracker.  Everyone loves him.
